34 Artillery-Brigade,342 Artillery-Regiment Obinze Holds WASA 2023 in Grand Style..as solders others receive special awards.

The Nigerian Army 34 Artillery Brigade,343 Artillery Regiment Obinze lmo State command during the weekend held its 2023 West African Social Activity (WASA).

In his speech during the WASA ,the Commander 34 Artillery Brigade Obinze, Brigadier General Usman Lawal , thanked God Almighty for the opportunity to celebrate yet another WASA in 2023 .

He further thanked the chief of Army Staff Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja for his support to the command and all his efforts towards the event,he noted that the WASA is an annual event which is tagged in celebrating  officers and soldiers in other to show case their different culturel heritages.

Brid Gen ,Lawal said that the 2023 is eventful and successful as he added that the command has made a lot of achievements through force projection,by reducing kidnapping, cultism, banditry, political assianation among other viruses that has eaten dip into the state.

Lawal also said that the command has dialogued the IPOB groups and ESN in their strongholds , while oil theft has been taken care of within the lmo State region.

He further noted that even the command and it's personals has worked hard during the Gubernatorial elections and festival period as he commend the dance trophy for show-casing different rich cultural  heritages in the country.

He urged the civilians and personals to be more vigilant in other to report any unsuspected criminal activities in their locality.

"Report any unlawful activity to the command in other to private unwarranted activities that can lead to violence in the state".

Our Correspondent, Onyinenyechi Amakulo who monitored the proceedings reports that the special guest of honor, Governor Hope Uzodinma, who was represented by the Head of Service of lmo State,Hon Raymond Ucheoma , thanked the Nigerian Army specially the 34 Artillery Brigade Obinze for organizationing such an event in other to bring together the command as one entity.

He added that the traditional dance display has shown rich culturel heritage of our people,as he added that he is impressed with what is happening with the personals .

"We are all moving about freely because of efforts of the command,so I celebrate all those who came from far and wide to celebrate with the command.

He also thanked the Commander and his Men for their efforts in making sure that lmo State is claim and free from hoodlums and restrictiveness .

Highpoint of the occasion includes, display by cultural troupes dance display,Tug of War by female soldiers,awards presentations and inspection of local,Traditional Delicacies.
