2024 Olympic: Bayana Bayana Storms Abuja For Super Falcons Clash
Ahead of the all-important Olympics qualifier against Super Falcons, Banyana Banyana of South Africa have stormed Abuja, the capital City of Nigeria.
Infonews.com.ng learnt that the Desiree Ellis-led team has been in closed camp for two weeks in preparation for the crucial clash.
The team arrived Abuja on Sunday afternoon and are expected to commence training for the weekend game on Monday.
The African champions we gathered are hoping to return to the ancient games after missing out on the last edition in Tokyo, Japan.
The first leg against Nigeria is slated for MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja with the return leg to be decided in Pretoria a week later.
The winner of the two-legged tie will pick one of the two slots to represent Africa in the women’s football event of the 2024 Paris Olympics later this year.
