Ani's Double Penalty Saves Earns Enyimba Abia FA Cup Final Ticket

NPFL Champions and Aba giants, Enyimba Int'l FC on Friday secured their place in the final of the 2024 Abia State FA Cup.

The People's Elephant' who are the defending Champions were stressed to the wire by last seasons runner up, Ahudiyanne FC of Abriba as the very tight tie had to decided on penalties.

On came the hero of the day, Ani Ozoemena who's brave double penalty saves ensured that the Elephants retain the chance to defend their titles.

Reacting to Enyimba media shortly after his Stanley Nwabali's heroic exploits at the AFCON in Cote D'Ivoire, Ani while expressing his delight over his exploits commended his colleague and the entire team noting that they did very well during the encounter.

He thanked God for the teams qualification to the final.

"First of all I have to say thanks to God who made it possible and am very happy.

"Am happy for the team, we've made it to the final and i appreciate the guys, they did very well.

Enyimba will on Sunday at the Enyimba Int'l Stadium, Aba take their sister club, Abia Warriors in an Easter block-buster to decide who is the king of Abia.
