Ex-Kwara UTD Midfielder, Ovoke Insists Enyimba Is in Ilorin For Maximum Points

 

..As Coach Yemi Reiterates Teams Fighting Spirit

Enyimba FC stand in coach, Olanrewaju Yemi Daniel us retreated his team’s desire to go all out in a quest for maximum points in Ilorin, the kwara state capital.

Speaking on the crunch tie, Coach Yemi hoped to continue the good run following a run of three consecutive wins during the week with wins over Niger Tornadoes last weekend in the Nigeria Premier Football League and Ngwa United and Jaguar FC in the Abia State FA Cup respectively 

The stand in gaffer also highlighted the fact that the duel against kwara United is going to be a tough one because Kwara Is currently in the relegation zone 

“It’s going to be a tough game because they are fighting for relegation so I do not think the will want to sleep on it but we are gonna fight for the maximum points”

Also, new acquisition Bernard Ovoke has insisted that the elephants are going out for all three points in Ilorin 

We’re expecting nothing less than total victory and we are going there to pick up maximum three points. I know the game would be difficult but it’s the three points we want”

In the reverse fixture played in November, the elephants ran out winners over the Afonja Warriors after Chidebere Nnachi was felled inside the box and Chijioke Mbaoma converted the resulting penalty.
