Excitement In Isiukwuato As Gov Otti Flags Off 11.5 -km Nunya-Eluama-Ogboro Road

The good people of Isuikwuato has since this week been in excitement mood as they celebrated the flag-off of the 11.5-km Nunya-Eluama-Ogboro Road project by His Excellency, the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Chioma Otti.

The project according to a statement on the official X handle of Gov Otti, will be executed by the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) with the companies assurances that it will be completed within twelve (12) months. The venture he noted is a pathway for connecting communities and fostering economic growth and prosperity.

In about a year, the ease of transporting goods will boost trade and provide better returns on their labour. The road will boost man-hours and also reduce travel time for those driving from the Port Harcourt/Aba/Owerri axis through Akara, Alayi, and other neighbouring communities who may not want to use the Umuahia-Uzuakoli route.
