Finally Imo Commissioners Emerge, As Gov Uzodimma Send Nominees For Screening

 





Barely two months after his swearing in, Imo State Governor, Sen Hope Uzodimma is set to constitute his carbonate, Infonews.com.ng has learnt.


Following reports from grape vine, the Imo State House of Assembly under the leadership of, Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe may likely screen some Commissioner Nominees today March 7, 2024.


A reliable Source from the Government House hinted that the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma had few days ago sent the said names to the House of Assembly for possible screening today.



Aside the Commissioner Nominees that may be screened this today, the Governor has also appointed his Special Assistants and Senior Special Assistants which would be announced soon.


It was further gathered that aside Barr Enyinna Onuegbu whose appointment as Head of Political Bureau has begun to run as announced by the State Government, the immediate former House of Assembly member for Isu State Constituency, Hon Modestus Osakwe made the list of SSAs.


The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Oguwuike Nwachukwu had few days ago announced the appointment of Enyinna Onuegbu as Head of Political Beurea to the Governor.


In a release signed by Oguwuike himself and made available, the Onuegbu’s appointment was with immediate effect.


Meanwhile, it was also gathered that the list of Commissione nominees would be going to the State House of Assembly in badges.


While few nominees had been sent to the State House of Assembly for possible screening, others would be sent in no time.


As at the time of filing this report, it was not clear as to how many Commissioner nominees that were sent to the House of Assemble for screening.
