 _..Lament Unpaid Rents_ see

As if the relegation battle and in house fighting currently ravaging Heartland FC is not enough, their worries seems to refuse to fade away quickly.

This is so as players of junior team of the former five time league champions, Heartland Comets FC are facing ejection from their camp due to unpaid rents.

Lamenting his ordeal to Infonews.com.ng, Mr Sunny Opara-Ekeocha expressed worry over the delay in the payment of the rent accumulated by players of Heartland FC.

He said the team have used the accommodation for more than 6 months yet no payment.

"It has been a disturbing situation because they have continuously failed to keep to the agreement between me and them, even when I have put in a lot of money to get the camp comfortable for the players.

"I guess am left with only one option to eject them since no one is forthcoming with the responsibility of explaining how the bill will be taking care of.

Heartland Juniors, are expected kick off their season when they take on Bazo FC in the 2024 Imo State Federation Cup which starts this week.
