Rivers United NPFL Tie With Heartland FC Gets News Date

Organizers of the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL, has rescheduled the date for the match day 26 encounter between Rivers United and Heartland FC in Port Harcourt, Infonews.com.ng can authoritatively report.

According to a release signed by NPFL Chief Operating Officer COO, Davidson Owumi, the league body has rearranged the match day 26 encounter between Rivers United and Heartland FC which was originally scheduled to hold on Saturday March 16, 2024 to Sunday March 17, 2024 at same venue, Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt by 4pm.

The league body in the statement said this was due to the unavailability of he stadium on the original date.

The release reads in parts;

"We are in receipt of correspondence of River United FC regarding unavailability of Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on 16th of March, 2024.

"Kindly be informed that the match state below have been rearranged as follows 

"Match day 26, Rivers United vs Heartland FC, old date, Saturday 16, March, 2024 to Sunday 17 March, 2024.
