Surveyors Has The Anti Dote To Insecurity, Says Imo NIS Boss, Orisakwe

The Imo state Chairman of Nigeria Institute of Surveyors ,  Surveyor Dr. Kingsley Orisakwe has disclosed that , if properly equipped the Surveying profession Will make  a headway to solve the insecurity in the country .

Surv. Orisakwe made this assertion while briefing Newsmen in the capital city of Owerri ,he commended the just concluded conference of the Eastern Survey forum which centered on "The role of Surveying in fighting insecurity in South Eastern region of Nigeria " while describing the theme as an apt one .in his words " surveying practice can help to solve the problem of insecurity , in Nigeria people don't sleep with their 2 eyes close , our profession deals with locating positions anywhere on the earth , Surveyors has the anti dote to security challenges" he said.

Speaking on the surveying practice in Nigeria , Surv. Orisakwe hinted that the practice is highly lucrative  , he urged practitioners to be Professional in carrying out their duties .

On the issue of quackery , he said " when you see honey , bees are attracted  , in order to eliminate   quacks  , we have implored so many actions to eliminate quacks, we have ethics committee in every state" he expressed .

Surv.Orisalwe seized the platform to enjoin  up coming surveyors not to deviate , while acknowledging that Surveying is a noble Proffessor .
