Suspense In Imo Over 3 Missing Minors In Mbaise Community

..As Family Cries Out To Police

There is uneasy calm in Oru-Ahiara Community, Ahiazu Mbaise LGA following a troubling report of missing three minors while they went out to buy pencil Infonews.com.ng reports.

The three minors whose names were given as Ikechukwu Nnadozie, aged 10, Chioma Ikechukwu Onuoha, aged 7, and Chibuike Okechukwu Onuoha, aged 5, have been declared missing by the family.

In a viral short note written by the family, the three kids got missing since Wednesday while they went out to buy pencils.

They hail from Oru-Ahiara community in Ahiazu-Mbaise LGA of Imo State.

The note reads, "we wish to draw the attention of the general public on the missing of the following children since Wednesday 13th March, 2024 at Afor Ogbe market.

"These children belong to different parents all from Oru-Ahiara community in Ahiazu-Mbaise and their identities are this;

1. Master Ikechukwu Nnadozie .

  Age: 10 years

 Address: Umuosi Oru Ahiara, Ahiazu-Mbaise  LGA Imo state.

School: Divine Warriors Academy School Mpam Ekwerazu Ahiazu-Mbaise LGA Imo state.(Primary 4)

2. Miss Chioma Ikechukwu Onuoha. 

Address: Umuiwe Oru Ahiazu-Mbaise LGA Imo State.

Age: 7 years.

School: Central School Oru Ahiara, Ahiazu-Mbaise LGA Imo state. ( Primary 2)

3. Master Chibuike Okechukwu Onuoha.

Age: 5 years.

Address: Umuiwe Oru Ahiara, Ahiazu-Mbaise, LGA Imo state.

School: Central School Oru  Ahiara, Ahiazu-Mbaise, LGA Imo state.

"Please any person with useful information about the missing persons  (Children) should contact

or any police station, Catholic or Anglican Churches."

But a village source who spoke to journalists said the kids were taken to Afor Ogbe market alongside their parents when they went out to buy pencils.

Henry Okoye, the Imo state police command Spokesman, when contacted said the command had yet to be briefed on the development.
