IMO FA BEGINS REGISTRATION FOR 2024 STATE LEAGUE

The Imo State Football Association has called on all clubs in the state to come forward and register for the 2024 State league ahead these seasons commencement.

Infonews.com.ng learnt the winner of this seasons league will represent the state at the Nigerian Nationwide League (NLO) competition.

According to a release made public by the FA media department, the cost for registration is N120,000 to participate in the playoffs, while the breakdown of the fees is registration N70,000; affiliation N20,000; and administrative N30,000. 

Secretary of Imo FA, Goddy Ndudi has said any club that participated in the 2024 federation cup and paid their annual affiliation fee will not repeat the payment.

He said there will be four groups comprised of four clubs each who will play to produce group winners.

"The league shall be played in four groups on round-rubbing among the four winners to produce the first and second winners that will represent the state at the NLO.

"However, only affiliated clubs in the state are qualify to take part in the competition. Imo FA calls on all clubs to rush as the deadline is May 31st, after which we commence." 

The first and second will represent the state at the NLO alongside other teams from other states where they will compete for the coveted trophy. 

By this notice, the Imo FA calls on all registered clubs in the state to rush to the office and perfect their registration to participate in the NLO competition.
