NPFL 2024: Lobi Stars Boss, Lorfa Accused of Ordering Tugs to Assault Enyimba Media Officer

It is becoming clear that the desperation of some teams to win at all cost may soon destroy the nascent success and good work of the organizers of the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL, if not checked immediately.

The derogatory and barbaric measures seemingly employed by Lobi Stars officials and hired tugs also left much to be desired of the professional attitude of our league following the incident that occured in Enyimba's match day 29 encounter against the Markurdi side.

Earlier on Sunday, the media department of Lobi Stars resorted to a clandestine style when they declared the game as a closed door encounter in a media report which did not just baffle their opponents alone but the entire football fans including Enyimba FC fans based in Lafia and it's environs who would have loved to support their darling team.

At that point after they realized that their dubious measures were being recorded and exposed some mean looking tugs apparently employed by the home team started assaulting the away teams Camera Man which was resisted by Enyimba's Media Officer, Orji David and they descended on him under the watch of their Club Chairman, Dominic Lorfa ordering him to leave the arena and refusing him to exercise his duties including arranging for media chart with their Coach.

It is indeed a barberic means of trying to win the league or stay in contention and the authorities should wade into this derogatory means employed by some club managers just to win at home and also device more heavier punishment for teams and match Officials who are kill joy with their devilish officiating.
