THE VIEWS FOUNDATION PAYS EXAM FEES FOR 31 PUPILS FROM UMUDIM

..DONATES CASH, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO SCHOOLS

In a bid to give back to the society and ensure that children of the poorest of the poor acquires basic education, the Chief Executive and Founder of The Views Foundation Educational outreach, a Non-Governmental organization,Engr Victor Chukwuemeka Anyanwu,paid Common Entrance Examination fees for 31 pupils selected from St Mary's primary school, Brilliant primary school and Salvation Nursery and primary school all in Umudim Ikeduru LGA Imo State Nigeria.





Similarly, the foundation on April 19,2024, donated 14 desks to Umuonye-ukwu community school Ikeduru to ensure adequate learning environment for the pupils.




Addressing pupils, teachers and guests at the Foundation's one year anniversary celebration held at St Mary's primary  school Umudim, the Founder Engr Victor Chukwuemeka Anyanwu,stressed the importance of education and disclosed  that he is giving back to the society because he was once a kid and like them too.


He opined that education is the best legacy any parent can bequeath their children.


He further hinted that the number of students turn out this year,doubled that of last year,and donated the sum of one hundred and fifty thousand naira to each of the three schools in addition to the exam fees earlier paid.


He thanked the teachers for the good work they are doing and promised to appreciate them.


Responding, the Headmistress of Umuonye-ukwu community school,Mrs Onwuegbu Chinyere,thanked him for his benevolence and milk of human kindness and disclosed that her pupils no longer look dirty since the foundation donated white board to the school.

She further hinted that when she was posted to the school, that she was in dilemma and that people made mockery of the school based on infrastructural decay, but thanked God for the intervention of The Views Foundation.

Contributing, Lady Ogechi Anyanwu mother of the Founder of the foundation, highlighted on the importance of education, but however frowned at the way education is moving backward in their community.

She admonished the children not to get involved in "Yahoo"business, but rather to take their studies serious and always listen to their mothers.

The memories of the day Info news gathered will be difficult to be raised erased in hearts of the pupils as many of them had the opportunity to climb the bouncing castle for the first time,while Micky Mouse was on ground and added flavour to the event.

Children had fun and there was dancing competition and mini quiz competition amongst the pupils.

The pupils were entertained and thanked the organisers of the programme.
