The four semi finalists of the Kanu Nwankwo U-19 Football Competition, Aba Center has emerged infonews.com.ng can authoritatively report.
According to results of the quarter final matches decided on Monday and Tuesday of the Enyimba City Center, Apex Crane FC, Forster Academy, El Harry Academy and Okwu United FC all made to the semis.
Forster Academy of Umuahia edged Proswealth Academy 2-1 while Apex Crane were held to a one all draw by Miracle Academy before they pulled through 7-6 on penalties.
Earlier, El Harry Academy pipped Dona Stars Academy 1-0 just as Okwu United FC defeated Ngwa United on penalties 3-0 advantage Okwu United in the first quarter final game on Monday after the regulation time ended 1-1.
In the semi final games El Harry Academy will square up against Apex Crane FC in the first game while Foster Academy will tackle Okwu United FC in the second semis for a place in the final.
In a release made available by the LOC to infonews.com.ng, winners of the Owerri Center will meet winner of Aba Center to determine the champions of the Maiden Kanu Nwankwo U-19 Football Competition ably powered by ex- international and Sporting Director of Enyimba FC, Ifeanyi Ekwueme to help identify talents for the future.
Recall that in Owerri Center, Campos Academy, Heartland Juniors, Decency FC and Pakat FC are all through to the semis too.
