Enyimba Sporting Director, Ekwueme Keen To Nurture Exceptional Prodigy, Rhema to Stardom

Spurred by the desire to give back to the society and the hunger to reinvigorate grassroots football development, Enyimba FC has expressed Keen Interest in Excellent Football Aacademy's Wonderkid, Rhema Obaroara.

Rhema Obaroara, a 13-year-old prodigy recently caught the attention of Enyimba International's Technical Director, Ifeanyi Ekweme, a former Nigerian International who in his teenage era was also discovered in same manner. 

Rhema, nicknamed "Okan Jr," is a talented attacking midfielder known for his exceptional free kicks, precise passing, and creativity in the middle of the pack.

Fresh from completing his Junior WAEC exams, Rhema will now focus on training ahead of the 2024 Delta State League. Infonews.com.ng learnt his impressive skills were on display at the Enyimba Scouting program, where Excellent Football Academy was invited. 

Ifeanyi Ekweme who is keen to nurture Rhema's talent told our reporter that the People's Elephant' is out to change the face of Nigerian club sides to be like is obtainable in Europe adding that a potential move to Enyimba International for Rhema could be on the cards for the young sensation.

He maintained that the key to football development is by investing on the future talents and creating a very enabling environment for them to express their God's given talent pointing out that that is what Enyimba currently is doing.
