Imo FA Pledges Support For Khalifa FC As Owerri Side Secures NNL Status

Chairman of the Imo State Football Association, Barr Ifeanyi Dike has hailed Kun Khalifat FC on their qualification to the Nigeria National League. (NNL).

Kun Khalifat defeated De - Sapele FC on penalties in the Nigeria Nationwide League One Playoff in Ibadan, Oyo State recently.

This is even as Dike pledged the FAs support in their quest to clinch the trophy.

The FA Chairman made the disclosure during a courtesy visit by the team to the FA office in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

Dike charged the team to brace up for the new challenge noting that with hard work and dedication, Kun Khalifa FC will soon join the premier league.

According to him, the qualification of the team was no mean feat, noting that it was a huge motivation for aspiring teams in the state.

He restated the commitment of the FA to the improvement of the leather game in the state and beyond. 

The khalifa FC team expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and pledged to do the state proud.
