Wingless Eagles Risks Missing 2026 World Cup, As Benin Rep Peeps Nigeria In Abidjan







Unless they return to winning ways and hope that results of the games favour them, Super Eagles of Nigeria risk missing out of the 2026 World Cup.


Nigeria's chances of making the next mundial was thrown into jeopardy following their 2-1 loss to  neighbors, Benin Rep.


The Silver medal winners in the last AFCON in Cote D'Ivoire looked like they were to bounce back from their lack luster performance against South Africa in Uyo on Friday did start on a good not with Raphael Onyedika's fine finish at the 27 minute before the Beninese fought back to equalise and took the lead before half time.
