First Mahi Babes Switches Training Ground Ahead Regrassing of Abajah Mini Stadium

With all attention concentrated on preparations for the 2024 NWFL Championship later this month in Calabar, Cross River State, First Mahi Babes has switched their venue of their training sessions.

This was necessitated by the regressing project currently ongoing at their home ground, Abajah Mini Central Stadium in Nwangele LGA.

Making this known to infonews.com.ng, the Club's Chairman and a Chieftain of Abajah Ancient Kingdom in Nwangele LGA, Prince Chidiebere Eze Onuoha said his female team were compelled to switch their training ground to pave way for the regrassing of Abajah Stadium.

He said they are already in a partnership with the management of Community Secondary School, Abajah who are the owners of their new training ground.

"We have changed our training ground following the regrassing project on our home ground by Abajah All Stars (AAS), a social cultural and sports association in the area who have pioneered progress and development in the area.

"We are fully Concentrated with our preparations for the season and hope to also help discover and develop talented players from the school who are desirous of becoming professional footballers.

The team will depart for Calabar, Cross River state on Friday August 31, 2024 for the NWFL Championship which will end on September 8, 2024.
