 ..As Team Gets Set For NWFL Championship Debut

Following their resolve to ensure players development and exposure, First Mahi FC has partnered Talent Hunt FC Academy for fruition.

Infonews.com.ng can authoritatively report that both parties are keen to share ideas and programmes on development of players and their exposures for greener pastures.

Disclosing, the Chairman of First Mahi FC, Prince Chidiebere Eze Onuoha said his club both male and female has concluded plans on how they can exploit the their development programmes and contacts to give the talented players in their fold their desired dream of becoming professional footballers.

He further stated that he and the President of Talent Hunt FC Academy who also doubles as the Imo State Sports Commission Chairman, Hon Prince Sir Eleazar Onyewuchi Ogbonna "Ambassador" would be working closely as plans to hold a scouting programme that would attract top football scouts and Sporting Directors from major clubs in Europe would be made public soon.

Meanwhile, First Mahi Babes FC, the female side of First Mahi FC would in few weeks be traveling to Calabar, Cross River state as they would be debuting in the NWFL Championship League after gaining promotion last season from NWFL Nation Wide league.

The team among other 17 teams including Imo Striker Queens FC of Imo (who played in the carder last season) will be jostling for promotion slots to the NWFL Premier League next season.

The team is currently in closed camping at their Abajah base in Nwangele LGA of Imo state.

They team will however on Sunday August 11, 2024 depart for Awka, Anambra State as they would equally take part along other 12 teams in the second edition of the South East Women Football Association SEWFA - Tawkwell league.

They team is expected to use the SEWFA League to fine tune themselves ahead of the Championship League in Calabar which kicks off on August 31st, 2024 and ends on September 8th, 2024.
