Great Ashivers CEO, Engr Ofili Hails TICO SELECT Organizers, LOC Chair, Nwaeze Upbeat Of New Discoveries

Engr Ofili Ifeanyi, Club CEO of Great Ashivers FC of Enugu State, one of one of the first timers at the ongoing Ifeanyi Ekwueme TICO SELECT Preseason Football Tournament, has hailed organizers of the annual tourney for a wonderful show piece.

Speaking through his coach, Onyeukwu Michael after their victory against Excellent FC of Ugheli on Tuesday, he described the tournament as a wonderful platform for teams to prepare ahead of the new season and for discovery of fresh and young talents.

He said his team has gained lots of experience playing in this 6th edition and appreciated sole sponsor, Ifeanyi Ekwueme and the LOC for the gesture and the SELECT sports items and souvenirs his team received.

Meanwhile, the LOC Chairman of the 6th edition of Ifeanyi Ekwueme TICO SELECT Preseason Football Tournament ongoing at Abakiliki City Stadium, Ebonyi state, FIFA Agent Nnamdi Nwaeze Chukwumeremeze has stressed the discovery of young and fresh talents in the tournament.

In a chart with the media on Tuesday, Nwaeze said the LOC have already been receiving list of players spotted by Abia Warriors FC, Rangers FC, Enyimba FC among others including those from club scouts who are not taking part but have their eyes on the tournament for fresh talents.

He maintained that the tournament over the years have continued to produce young and talented talents who have gone ahead to become household names in the NPFL league and in Europe adding that the 6th edition won't be different.
