Heartland FC Joins League Of Teams Unveiled For TICO/SELECT Preseason Tourney

 Few days to the commencement of this season's Ifeanyi Ekwueme TICO/SELECT Preseason Football Tournament, sponsors of the competition has unveiled Heartland FC of Owerri.

 Ex-international and former Barcelona winger, Emmanuel Amuneke (MFR) was on Tuesday August 20th, 2024 presented with SELECT branded products as Heartland FC were also handed SELECT match balls.

Amuneke who was recently named the new Technical Manager of the Naze Millionaires by Imo Governor, Sen Hope Uzodimma is expected to use the Sixth edition of the Ifeanyi Ekwueme TICO SELECT Preseason Tourney to fine tune his team haven just concluded an open screening.

The tournament which will kick of in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state on Friday August 23, 2024 will see 10 teams drawn from NPFL and NNL league sides including Oriental traditional teams justle for honours as they prepare for the 2024/25 league season.

Heartland FC's unveiling brings to 3 the number of teams so far unveiled by organizers of the preseason tournament which arguably the best East of the Niger.

Others also unveiled includes Enyimba FC and Abia Warriors FC.
