Little Rejoice, Chikamso @ 12yrs Are Youngest Players In SEWFA-Tawkwell League

..Says She Is Inspired By Super Falcons Star, Uchenna Kanu

Barely five days old into the 2024 SEWFA-Tawkwell football league currently ongoing in Awka, Anambra State the beautiful soccer show peice has continued to throw up intriguing and fascinating revelations.

One of the very interesting revelation is the presence of very young players and teams taking part in the league including the Imo Striker Queens Feeders, Solo Wonders UKF and Pepsi Academy teams, particularly two 12year old players in Pepsi Academy of Aba, Abia State and Imo Striker Queens Feeders team.

Rejoice Ogbonna hails from Amasiri in Afikpo North LGA of Ebonyi state and a Junior Secondary School JSS 2 pupil of God Is Real Model Academy Aba, Abia State.

While Chikamso is a Primary 6 Pupil of Eziome Mbieri Community Primary school in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo state.

Rejoice was introduced in their second game of the league against Zohar FA of Enugu which they lost 1-2.

Chikamso on the other hand has played twice for Imo Striker Feeders.

In a chart with SEWFA media, Rejoice who was excited said her heroin in football is Super Falcons player, Uchenna Kanu as well as former Barcelona and PSG winger from Brazil, Neymar and that she hopes to better the life of her family one day through football.

Although her team may have lost their game but she expressed delight for taking part in the league which is in its second edition appreciating his coach in Pepsi Academy who entered for the league the first time.

In other results on Thursday, Imo Striker Queens Feeders lost heavily 1-7 to Green Foot SA while Solo Wonders (UKF) of Abia drew 1-1 with debutants Dynamite Angels of Anambra.

On Wednesday, Imo Striker Queens Feeders lost 1-3 in their maiden SEWFA League game against Giant Empress SA, just as GPWorld FA paid for it in the hands of Imo Striker Queens Snrs 1-7 with Harmony Chidi recording her second hat trick of the league.

In the last game between  Awka Angels FC and Immaculate Queens of Enugu, the Anambra ran away 6-0 as Ifeanyichukwu scored a hat trick to make it three players on hat trick so far in the league.

The league however continues on Friday with games from 10am, Giant Empress SA of Aba taking on Little Bird FC of Anambra while Imo Striker Queens Snrs will by 12noon engage Pepsi Academy as they hope to consolidate on top of Group B, just as Awka Angels will in the last encounter by 2pm take on Solo Wonders for who tops group A.
