SEWFA Hails ISQ, First Mahi On Their Victories @ NWFL Championship








The executive and members of the South East Women Football Association SEWFA, has felicitated with their member clubs, Imo Striker Queens FC and First Mahi Babes FC on their first victories at the ongoing 2024 NWFL Championship league in Calabar, Cross River State.


In a congratulatory massage made available by the association's media, SEWFA expressed their delight with the two results of their member teams wishing them more victories in their subsequent games.


They termed the result as one of the gains of the teams dedication to development of their players adding that this also buttresses the essence and gains of the just concluded SEWFA League in Awka, Anambra state.


Imo Striker Queens FC in the first game at the UJ Esiene Stadium, Calabar defeated Heroes Queens FC 7-0 while in the second game at same venue, First Babes defeated Casmog Queens FC 4 -2 to secure maximum points.


The 2023 SEWFA League champions, ISQ will tomorrow Sunday meet home side Pelican Queens FC while First Mahi Babes draws buy but will meet Heroes Queens FC on Monday.


Both teams are in same group A1 and are from same state, Imo.
