SEWFA TAWKWELL League 2024: Imo Striker Queens Welcomes Zohar FC In Opening Encounter

..As Awka, Dynamite Rekindle Angels War

All is now set for the much talked about second edition of South East Women Football Association (SEWFA) League taking place in Awka, the capital city of Anambra state.

According to the group draws conducted by the Anambra state Football Association Secretary, Mr Nweke, 12 teams were drawn into 3 rgoups of 4 teams.

In group A, Imo Striker Queens who were runners up in the inaugural edition in Owerri is joined by new entrants, Zohar FC of Enugu, GPWorld FA of Nnewi and another new side, Pepsi Academy of Abia State.

In Group B, second runners up, Awka Angels FC is joined by their neighbours, Dynamite Angels, Immaculate Queens FC of Enugu and Solo Wonders (UKF) of Abia State.

While the last group C comprises of Rangers Female side, Green Foot SA of Enugu, New entrants Little Bird FC of Anambra, Imo Striker Queens Feeders and Giant Empress SA of Abia State.

The opening encounter will see Championship side, Imo Striker Queens welcoming to Zohar FC to their first baptizim of SEWFA League on Monday 12 August 2024 by 12noon just as Awka Angels would be in a battle of Angels with their neighbours, Dynamite Angels FC by 3pm all at the Awka City Stadium, Anambra state.
