Campos FC CEO, Patrick Osuji Doles Out N2m For 2025 Imo FA Cup

..Supports Heartland, State Refs, SWAN, Fans, Private Clubs With Cash Donations 

The CEO of Campos Football Club of Owerri, Mr Patrick Ikechukwu Osuji "Campos" has extend his magnanimity and hand of fellowship, brotherhood and benevolence to football stakeholders in the state.

In a show of solidarity and support to key and critical stakeholders including clubs in the state, Campos FC also pledged to sponsor this year's State Federation Cup with the sum of N2m.

Revealing the promise during a gathering with beneficiaries of Campos FC at the Imo FA boardroom at Dan Anyiam stadium, Owerri on Friday August 13, 2024, the Imo FA Chairman, Barr Ifeanyi Dike commended the human and spirited effort of Campos FC and explained to all the importance of ensuring that clubs and football stakeholders always liers with the FA for clarifications and affiliate their teams and competitions with the FA.

He explained that courtesy of Campos FC largess, the winner of this year's State FA cup will go home with N1m and the trophy why the runner up takes home N500,000. He added that N500,000 will serve for logistics for the organization of the competition.

In his statement, the CEO of Campos FC while encouraging other club owners in the state on the need to always work closely with the FA he noted that he is not showing affluence but trying to reach out to his fellow stakeholders by sharing a little of his proceed from one of players who has since signed a deal in Europe promising that in future more will hopefully come.

Some of the football stakeholders captured in the financial support includes; Imo FA - N500,000, Imo SWAN - N500, 000, Imo Referees - N500,000, Heartland FC -N200,000, Heartland Queens - N200,000, Imo Striker Queens FC - N200,000, Kun Khalifat FC - N200,000, NLO teams from Imo and some other amateur sides N100,000 respectively.
