FIFA U-20 World Cup: Nigeria Faces Japan Hurdle In Round of 16

 

Nigeria's Falconets will meet Japan in the round of 16 fixtures at the ongoing FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup in Colombia.

The last sixteen of the ongoing 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia was confirmed yesterday after the completion of the group stage fixtures.

Ghana defeated New Zealand 3-1, while Japan won 2-0 against Austria.

Following the last group results, Japan joined the other 15 countries in the last-16 stage and will face one of the two remaining African countries, Nigeria just as Cameroon faces Brazil.

The Round of 16 fixtures will take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
