PG UMUANUNU, ACHIGBUO HAILS IKEOHA ON HIS OWERRI WEST LG ELECTION VICTORY








The President General PG, of Umuanunu Autonomous Community in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon my James C. Achogbuo (Ochiudo) has sent his warm greetings to the executive chairman elect of Owerri West LGA -Hon Victor Osuigwe (Ikeoha) on his resounding victory in the just concluded Local Council elections held in the state recently. 

While speaking to newsmen in his country home recently, Hon Achogbuo noted that the emergence of Chief Osigwe as the elected chairman of the Council is a testament of the mass support he enjoys from the good people of Owerri West who he had served before as a Transition Chairman.

 He noted that this election has proved the saying that the reward for a good work is more work. 

Hon Achogbuo also used the opportunity to felicitate with his colleague and brother, -Hon Nnaemeka Ukwuoma who emerged as the Councillor- Elect for Obinze Ward 8 in the same election. 

He prayed that God almighty may give the two of them and other councillors, the wisdom and enablement to steer the ship of the LGA in the right direction in this most- difficult times.

He Advised the newly elected Chairman to always remain true to himself and continue in the trajectory that made the people to repose absolute confidence in him and his capacity to take them to the promised land.

The PG called on the in-coming Local Government Administration to as a matter of urgency find ways of tackling the incessant cases of insecurity bedevilling almost all the communities in the LGA so that the place can return to the home of enjoyment it used to be and life will be more meaningful for the people in the rural areas.
