Coach Yemi Olarenwaju emphasized the importance of securing maximum points. "We know it's going to be a tough game. Katsina United is a good side with many experienced players," Olarenwaju said. "But we must get our maximum points to consolidate our 3rd position on the log."

Enyimba FC currently occupies 3rd place with 9 points, and a win would strengthen her top of the table ambitions even as Daniel Daga and Clinton Jephta boosts the teams squad with their return.

The People's Elephant enters this match after a confidence-boosting 1-0 victory against Akwa United. Debutant Austin Onyemaechi scored the winning goal in the 72nd minute.
