Ex-FC Ebiedei Striker, Andersen Frowns At Heartland's Disallowed Goal Against 3SC

More condemnation have continued to trail Heartland FC's denial of a match point at Ibadan during their NPFL match day 4 encounter against 3SC.

Recall that the Naze Millionaires were on Sunday denied what looked like a legitimate goal at the Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan condemning the Owerri Landlords to their third league defeat of the season.

One of the descendants of Late Dan Anyiam, foremost Goalkeeper of Nigeria's National Football Team and first Coach of Spartans FC now Heartland, Andersen Joe Anyiam "WorldBest" joined thousands of football followers to condemn the disallowed goal by the center referee.

Speaking to infonews.com.ng during the week the petit striker who had his playing stint with FC Ebiedei and Ekiti United FC and who has continued to bang numerous goals for Diamond Dynamics Fitness Club, Owerri expressed sadness and regret over the disallowed goal saying it denied his darling team a well deserved away point.

"My brother is painful that such a goal could be disallowed even with the cameras covering the game.

"I know the NRA can do better than we see sometimes but it's painful especially with the effort put in by Coach Emmanuel Amuneke and his boys to get a positive result.

"While I commend the Referees, their authorities and NPFL for the away results so far gotten this season, there is need to sustain it and improve to ensure a fair league at the end of the season.

WorldBest however took time to encourage Coach Amuneke and his players not to relent in their efforts especially as they prepare to take on Niger Tornadoes in their NPFL match day 5 encounter on Sunday at the Dan Anyiam stadium, Owerri.

He also called for more support from the fans saying they is plenty room for improvement urging Imolites to continue to stay behind the team.
