NPFL 2024/25: Ihemekwele, Adiukwu Excited Over Enyimba's Victory, Goals Against Ikorodu

Enyimba FC duo of Ifeanyi Ihemekwele and Moses Adiukwu has expressed their excitement and joy over the teams victory and their goals against Ikorodu City on Sunday.

Reacting to Enyimba Media after the match day 9 encounter at the Enyimba Int'l Stadium, Aba both players felt humbled to have grabbed the important goals and thanked their technical crew and team mates for supporting them.

Ifeanyi Ihemekwele "Enyi" who joined the Nine time league champions from Shooting Stars FC, Ibadan said he feels good to have his first real NPFL season for Enyimba FC with 3 goals in his kitty setting double figure goals for himself at the end of the season.

On his own part, former Plateau United center back, Moses Adiukwu "Big Fish" said he was excited to have scored the important goal against Ikorodu at that critical time.

He went nostalgia about how the Technical Adviser, Coach Yemi Olanrewaju has been reminding him of his scoring prowess even while with other clubs but that he kept telling him that it would come and behold it came at the nick of time for the team.

Ihemekwele continued that he is enjoying his moment with Enyimba after a disappointing half season with 3SC promising to keep working hard for more goals to help his darling team finish top at the end of the season.

Enyimba defeated stubborn Ikorodu City 2-1 with goals from Ihemekwele and Adiukwu at the 6th and 92nd minutes to assure the People's Elephant the maximum points with Ihemekwele top the goals chart for Enyimba so far.
