We Brace Up For Victory Against Remo To Excite Enyimba Fans - _Coach Yema_

Coach of the People's Elephant, Yemi Olanrewaju Daniel says his team is braced for Victory against Remo Stars FC in Sunday's NPFL Match Day 11 encounter to give Aba fans happiness.

Enyimba FC's next league game against the Ikene based side this Sunday is at the Enyimba Int'l Stadium, Aba by 4pm and Coach Yema wants to excite the the fans with the three maximum points.

Enyimba's history with the 'Sky Blue Stars', isn't a pleasant one, something Coach Daniel is mindful of as he insists his team wants to enjoy the encounter in Aba and make everyone happy at the end.

Since 2017 Enyimba FC have battled Remo Stars 11 times with both sides earning 4 wins a piece while 3 has ended in stalemate.

Last season, the Ikene based side under Coach Ogumodade did a double over the Aba giants. In the first leg at Aba, Kadiri's 33rd minute header broke the fans heart while the reverse fixture at Ikene ended in a similar score line with 71st minute goal by Adams and Coach Yema says it's pay back time.

Reacting to Enyimba Media ahead of the block buster encounter pitching the 3rd placed team on the NPFL log against 2nd placed team, Coach Yema said he hopes to have CHAN Eagles invitees as it would act as a boost for the team.

He however noted that even with some key players injured, they are good with the team on ground to get the desired result.

Clinton Jephta after returning from Lome, Togo with the WAFU B U-20 champions is expected to feature in this one and Innocent Gabriel who felt some pain at Yenegoa against Bayelsa United is also expected to recover on time but Captain Somiari Alalibo and Elijah Akani are still doubts.

"Yeah, we know the importance of playing Remo Stars, you know they are a tough side and a top club.

"It's like a derby, our game with them is always very tough even though they have an edge over us since the past one and half season.

"But it's our home game, we want to enjoy the game and go for the maximum points, we know it's gonna be a tough battle.

"We give them that respect as a top team, they are gonna respect us too but on the pitch we know what is at stake for us, as a club so we have to go for it.

"On the players with the National team, hopefully we have them for the weekend even we have one or two injury to some of of our key players.

"But we have to manage what we have and what we have on ground is enough to get the job done for us.

"So we hope to have a good game on Sunday and make everyone happy, that's the focus.
