Amb Ogbonna Lauds Gov Uzodimma For Gifting Heartland Male & Female Teams With Buses

Imo State Sports Commission Chairman, Hon Prince Sir Eleazar Onyewuchi Ogbonna "Ambassador" has thanked specially the State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzidimma "Onwa Oyoko" for his benevolence and magnanimous gesture towards Promotion of sports.

Amb Ogbonna lauded the Governor for gifting Heartland FC and Heartland Queens with a Coaster Bus each recently at the Government House, Owerri in the presence of his Chief of Staff, Barr Nnamdi Anyaehie and the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Cosmos Iwu among other Shared Prosperity/3R functionaries. The state male in addition also got a Sprinter Bus.

The Sports Commission Boss, an ex international footballer with the passion for grassroots sports development appreciated His Excellency for the gesture noting that it would in no small measure ease their trips during their games.

The renowned philanthropist however urged both teams under the Technical Management of Coach Emmanuel Amuneke and Coach Obi to work harder for good results in appreciation of His Excellency's kind gesture.

He noted that by this demonstration that the Shared Prosperity master has simply reaffirmed his unweaving passion and desire to promote sports in the state and by extension empower the youths in the state.

Heartland FC is an NPFL and former multiple league winners while the female side, Heartland Queens FC is an NWFL Premier side making progress and aim for the league title this season.
