Barr Anyaehie, Iwu, Others Mourn With Ekeson Over Mum's Demise

The busy town of Awo-omamma was agog on Tuesday December 18,as the Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor,Hon.barr Nnmadi Anyaeihe, the Secretary to Imo State Government,Chief Cosmos Iwu, Government House officials, politicians of repute stormed the community for the burial of late Ezinne Edith Eke, mother of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Culture and Tourism,Hon. Ikechukwu Eke.
Addressing sympathizers, mourners, guests and friends, the homilist,Rev Fr.Alaribe,the Government House Chaplain, urged people to live good live no matter the situation, adding that people have testified that the deceased lived a good life.
He noted that there will be blessing for peace makers and people that lived good life.
He informed the Christian faithful that there is life after death, pointing out that the life one lived while on earth will determine where he willing be after death.
He consoled the children and relatives of the deceased and prayed God to pacify them.
In his remarks,the first son of the deceased, Chief Ikechukwu Eke, said that her mother was a hard working woman,a devoted Catholic and staunch member of the Catholic Women Organization (CWO).
He further hinted that her late mother implanted good virtues in them, especially love, kindness and the spirit of caring for others, stressing that her death has left an indelible mark in his life.
He disclosed that her mother was a trader and farmer,who specialised in the sale of palm oil, which he said gave her the opportunity to travel within the nookes and crannies of the south east.
He thanked God that his mother lived a good life and left good legacies.
Ekeson as he is fondly called,thanked his Boss and Mentor, barrister Nnmadi Anyaeihe for making out time to attend his mother's burial in spite of his tight schedules.
He seemingly thanked the Secretary to the State Government and others that came to be with them within their grief period and prayed God to bless them.
List of dignitaries that graced the occasion was endless, including politicians, business Moguls, Captains of Industries, Royal Fathers,clergies amongst others.
