Excitement As Ezeafurukwe U-13 Memorial Football Tourney Sets For Kick-off In Oguta

In fond and inspiring memory of his amiable character and  motivating legacies, the maiden edition of the Ezefurukwe Memorial Football Competition for Under 13 club sides sets to kick off on December 29th, 2024 in Oguta LGA of Imo state.

The grassroots football Development tournament is ably powered by Engr Ifeanyi Obua in loving memory of his late father.

According to a release made available to the media by the Local Organizing Committee LOC, ably led by Coach Stephen Ifeanyi Osagu, the competition which will see teams from across various LGAs in Imo State compete for honours in memory of Late Pa Joseph Benson "Beshi" Obua Ezefurukwe of Umuajie Kindred, Umutogwuma in Oguta LGA to immortalize his passion for the beautiful game of football as well as to groom budding talents.

The LOC further informed that registration for the competition is just Two Thousand Naira only (N2,000), as interested Academy teams are urged to avail their players the opportunity to express their talents.

The competition which will be preceded by a screening exercise by the technical Committee on December 28th, 2024 will apart from fostering peace and harmony among the teams will equally help to identify young and exciting talents at the ripe age for nurturing and development.
