FINCA MICRO FINANCE BANK CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF TRANSFORMATIVE IMPACT

December 4, 2024, FINCA MicroFinance Bank Celebrated their 10 years anniversary in owerri, imo state.

The chief executive officer FINCA MicroFinance Bank Mr Kingsley Ukoh in his speech said the anniversary mark their 10 years of empowering economically active low-income individuals by providing access to innovative and responsible financial services.

"Since our inception in december 2014, FINCA MicroFinance Bank, a fully central bank of Nigeria licensed MicroFinance bank and a proud subsidiary of FINCA Impact finance has committed itself to a singular vision. 

We have impacted over 40,000 customers in Imo state, these numbers reveal profound reach of our commitment, nearly 28 percent of our clients come from economically vulnerable background, 49% lives in rural communities, and 37% are women seeking to secure brighter future for themselves and their families.

"Our footprint span imo state, with network of 13 locations alongside an extensive banking- agency, last year alone, FINCA Nigeria equipped over 833 individuals with crucial skills in planning, budgeting, credit management and digital security. In response to Nigeria's evolving needs, we have rolled out education loan for school improvement and school fees, along with our mobile app. USSD services and debit cards, bringing a world of possibilities to our customer's fingertips.

Continuing, "our decade long journey has been marked by numerous awards and recognitions, including being named  MicroFinance Bank of the year in 2016 and 2023, top performing MFB in south east Nigeria, among others.
