The win crowned Umuguma Ward as the inaugural champions of the No Vex Unity Cup, a tournament powered by philanthropist and No Vex Group CEO, Hon. Prince Osinachi Amako (fondly known as “No Vex”). As champions, Umuguma lifted the coveted trophy amidst jubilant celebrations and a rapturous crowd. Eziobodo Ward received the 1st runner-up trophy, while Avu/Oforola Ward claimed 3rd place after defeating Ihiagwa Ward in a tightly contested third-place playoff.

The tournament, designed to foster unity across Owerri West, delivered on its promise. Fans packed the venue with chants, drumming, and a sea of colors, creating an electrifying atmosphere. • Best Goalkeeper: Okehi Izuchukwu (Umuguma Ward) – His acrobatic saves kept opponents at bay.

• Highest Goal Scorer: Amuzie Eze (Umuguma Ward) – The striker’s lethal finishing earned him the golden boot and ₦50,000.
