Obowo Agog, As Engr Ibewuike Dedicates His New Mansion Amidst Pump & Pageantry

Umuoke in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State, penultimate Thursday December 19,2024, witnessed unusual influx of visitors to their community as a result of the Housewarming party and the conscreation of the Holy Family Grotto organized by Engr and Dr Mrs  Justin Chukwuka Ibewuike.

The event commenced with a High mass at Christ the King Catholic Church Umuoke, officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Okigwe dioceses,His Grace Most Rev.Solomon Amatu.

Addressing guests, worshippers and friends of the celebrant in his homily,the clergy said that every good thing comes from God and that before one is born, God knows.

He thanked God for what he has done in the lives of the Ibewuike's, pointing out that God does something good for everyone and that every one is God's plan,adding that where ever you find your self God is aware. 

He cited the holy scripture, saying that Sampson's mother was barren up to her old age and was instructed by a prophet not to drink alcohol that she will soon be pregnant and later,she gave birth to Sampson who delivered Israelites.

Buttressing further,he said that God visited Elizabeth the wife of Zachariah and told her that she will bear a child and she doubted the prophecy, similarly God told one of the prophets that he has known him from his mother's womb.

The bishop regretted that people doubt God, saying there is no impossibility in God's dictionary. 

He urged Christians to ensure that they are in good relationship with God, stressing that when this happens, they will see the plans of God working in their lives just as he has done to the Ibewuike's.

"If you do something good for God he will do more for you"Bishop Amatu said.

At the end the mass, the bishop officially blessed the house and dedicated the holy family grotto built by the celebrant.

Infonews Correspondent present at the event observed that guests were lavishly entertained,as High Life maestro,Bright Chimezie and His Ziggima band held the audience spellbound.

The Ogene Boys and the traditional cultural dancers also thrilled the crowd.

Fielding questions from journalists,the celebrant Engr Justin Chukwuka Ibewuike, thanked God for blessing them with the magnificent edifice"The Banquet "and lauded his friends whom inspite of their tight schedules came to celebrate with him.

The event attracted Who is Who in the society including Clergymen Clergymen, Captains of Industries, Business Moguls, Politicians, friends in-laws and associates of the family.
