Stakeholders Laud Imo Gov's Swift Action To Uphold NECO Secretariat Site In Imo

Imo Stakeholders of National Examination Council Organization NECO, have lauded Gov Hope Uzodimma's swift action to Uphold the land property for the proposed site for the permanent secretariat of NECO in Owerri.

 Reacting over the Governor's directive to the government agencies in charge of ensuring that NECO takes possession of the said property, Mrs Emilia Njoku, the Anambra State Coordinator NECO, Anambra on behalf of the Registrar, Prof Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi thanked the Governor for ensuring transparency and justice in land matters which she acknowledged is a testament to His Excellency's dedication to public service.

According to her, she observed that the decisive decision would go a long way in protecting NECO's property rights and ensuring it's uninterrupted operations in the service of education and national development.

Adding his voice the Engineer in charge of the project, Engr JEN Udochukwu Wilson thanked the Governor and his Aides including the Barr Enyinnaya Onuegbu, Commissioner for Lands, the OCDA General Manager and other relevant authorities for making his work easier and saving his effort of developing the project.

He maintained that the actions of the Imo State Government has continued to demonstrate Governor Uzodimma's passion to continue to guarantee Imolites and their children quality education.

Meanwhile, the NECO Coordinator, Mrs Emilia Njoku has kindly pleaded for a Caveat Emptor notice board to be placed on the walls of the property as it would serve as a visible and formal warning to deter any unauthorized dealings or encroachment on the said property.

Recall that the state government allocated plot P36 of Imo State Institutional and Staff Quarters Layout, New Owerri with certified C of O and has since been rectified by Gov Hope Uzodimma's administration warning trespassers and unauthorized persons from encroaching or disturbing the development being done by NECO.
